The Care You Need—When
You Need It
One tour is all you’ll need! When a little extra time
is needed to get you back-on-your feet and home, you’ll
know that Chelsea Retirement Community is the premier choice.
Our beautifully remodeled rehabilitation and nursing center
features attractively appointed private rooms with generous
common areas and gracious comfortable furnishings. Plus all
residents have access to our lovely campus and all its amenities
including library, theater, classes, church services, and our
award-winning chef’s selections at the bistro grill.
Through our top-notch skilled nursing and rehabilitation program,
we meet a wide range of short-term medical, nursing and rehabilitation
needs. Many of our patients have been recently hospitalized
for strokes, fractures or joint replacements and need more time
to recover before returning home. Others seek intensive, short-term
treatment for chronic medical conditions such as diabetes or
congestive heart failure, which demand special attention but
generally don’t require a hospital stay.
Our rehabilitation department also offers outpatient therapy,
on a referral basis, with our occupational, physical therapists
and speech pathologists.
Whatever the need may be—post-hospitalization treatment,
intensive on-site rehabilitation or outpatient therapy sessions—patients
can rely on United Methodist Retirement Communities for comprehensive
medical treatment and expert rehabilitation services.

Our care is always personalized and extends beyond basic medical
treatment. Our social workers, chaplains and caring staff are
always available to help you with the emotional and spiritual
challenges of recovery. We can put you in touch with community
resources and other support services needed to return home or
make a comfortable transition to another setting.
Family Members Are Always Welcome
Families and visitors are always welcome. (We even have a lovely
guest room available for overnight stays.) Families are also
invited to enjoy Chelsea Retirement Community’s many
amenities and programs, including our library, theater, many
classes, church services, and our award-winning chef’s
selections at the bistro grill.
